I learned more than I ever wanted to about fluorescent lamps. One of those things being it takes some excitement to get them to do what they're meant to do, another is that I spelled it wrong each time up until now. The last thing- there's a lack of them in the Sims 2. Now your Sim's homes and businesses can be blindingly bright and their customers can see exactly what they're buying. Which may or may not be a good idea.

These lites were cloned from the Dangling Daylight hanging lamp. There are 2 versions: Version 1 is closer to the ceiling, has no hardware showing through the bottom panel and has a frame. Version 2 is a bit farther from the ceiling, has no frame and the hardware shows through the bottom panel. The frame version was requested- I ended up with the 2 versions and couldn't decide which I liked better.
Because the white lites are so bright, there are 2 recolors included- black and grey. They light up a room as well as the white but they're not so harsh. Any of the lites can be used in a home or business. Residential and community collection files are included for your convenience.
No cheats are needed to place these- the wall lites ARE NOT shiftable. All should be base game, if not let me know and I'll fix them. The polys for may seem a bit on the high end for 1-tile objects. It's the hardware that did it- and I did reduce the polys as far as possible without losing the "look".

The lights can be found where you'd expect them to be and all cost 25 Simoleons.
