This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
4 decorative objects; two roof ventilations, one wall ventilation and one chimney pot.
They all cost 45 and are found in Buy mode>Decor>Roof decorations/Misc decor. Each object is also recolorable (1 channel.)

Polygon Counts:
Chimney pot - 207 vertices, 152 faces
Roof ventilation - 315 vertices, 186 faces
Roof ventilation 2 - 90 vertices, 50 faces
Wall ventialtion - 287 vertices, 148 faces

Style: Not Applicable
Room: Outdoor
Maxis Flags: Not Applicable

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Thanks for the roof objects, I've quite a few flat roofed bars and clubs that can really use these.

These look so realistic! Thank you for these - they are going to get a lot of use. And now I can see using the EA ductwork they included with Late Night!

lol..good job..except.

the smaller unit...is so wrong it's kinda annoying. The one is like a "package unit" which will have ductwork coming off it.

however the smaller one..is a regular "split system"..it should have refrigerant pipes coming off it..not ductwork..the metal ductwork you have going into it's side looks silly..it's going right into the fins of the coil.

I've been waiting for a LONG time for someone (as I suck at making things) to make AC/HPump units...but this just doesn't pass lol

sorry but as an HVAC tech..I just had to point out what's wrong with these

One problem - my computer doesn't like .rar and .7zip files, so - could you get me a .zip one? Thnx though ( I always did think EA needed more of these. ).

Hey =) I downloaded these forever ago, and I was just going through my cc folders and deleting stuff i don't use or isn't share-friendly, and when I got to your folder, I had to check your profile on here to verify whether or not I can use your stuffz with my lots and such, and since you permit, I MUST say THANK YOU! ...

But wait, the main thing I wanted to leave a comment about is that this thread is listed as requiring the EP- Ambitions in order for/to work, but I don't even have Ambitions and these are in my game!! All I have is base game (and now i have LN)... funny huh?? I was silly for downloading stuff without looking at what alls required, but glad I made that little mistake! haha..

so anyways, yeah, they work with the base game, no need for ambitions. =)
