So, with LN, we get bars. Yay! Drinking! But for some reason, they're all either skyscrapers or holes. wtf? You don't have to be a classless city kid to enjoy a drink!
With my rural simmies crying out for attention, I eventually gave in and created The Queen's Knickers: a little tucked-away pub in the woods, tagged in-game as a Local Watering Hole: in the best English tradition, complete with thatched roof, tudor(ish) construction, dingy toilet, and questionable décor! The Queen's Knickers provides everything you'd expect from a pub. We have parking for two cars for juice-drinkers - see the stylish rows of rocks in the front which couldn't possibly be hiding anything - and two bike racks. We also have a garden, complete with fenced-off play area including slide, toys, and sandpit, for sunny afternoons: And a perfect, cosy, and warm interior, for bitter winter nights (lonely, or... otherwise. We don't judge so long as you pay your tab...). Whether you want a table with friends, to sit and chat at the bar, to play a quick game of darts (got to keep the lads occupied while the ladies get on with running the world), or to curl up by the fire - it's all here! Serving beer, ale, beer, wine, beer and, let's not forget, coiydaaarr, no sim could possibly be miserable within the whitewashed walls of The Queen's Knickers! Oh god, I didn't even plan that one... I hope the beaver-hats don't catch me... Unfortunately, EA suck. Yes, that's it, that's all you're getting. Well, ok. When lots are rotated, the terrain paint gets all out of whack. That's why you may sometimes notice a patch of dirt two feet to the left of a tree or a lamppost on an EA lot. The same applies here - so if you rotate the lot, the sandpit may end up being more of a sand-smear. It's easy enough to fix. I did try to stay away from the CC, I really did . Sadly, EA don't give us proper stuff, so I have used six items of CC. Five are included in the rar file (thankyou, creators, for your lovely policies!), the sixth is this:Tavern sign by Syren Of course, if you really don't want to download it, you needn't - you'll just have to delete whatever random object the sign is replaced by. But, well, what kind of English pub doesn't have a sign? I also very very strongly recommend that you download this: Gone with the Window with 18 slots by cmomoney If you don't, the lamp and the beer glass that are sitting in the window will disappear. You should download it anyway, even if you don't download the blinkin' lot, because it's awesome. Lot Size: 2x2 Lot Price: §34,080/§14,043 Custom Content Included: - Glass of Beer by Sandy @ AroundTheSims3 - Vodka Bottle by Sandy @ AroundTheSims3 - Whiskey Bottle #2 by Sandy @ AroundTheSims3 - Cheap Toilet by Lisen801 - Brown Thatched Roof by QBUILDERZ Additional Credits: I started this lot so long ago that I don't even remember who helped me... so thankyou to all the #create folks who helped me with this, especially whoever it was who helped me fix the CASting on the stage! The CC seen on the sims is by, variously, oepu, Anubis360, LadyFrontbum, bunnylita, Lit, and myself. 230 people have said thanks to whiterider for this download.
