Are you trying to use these skins or make your own? At what step are you have problems?

If you make your simbot following that method with a human sim using these metallic skins, they should stick when you copy the SIMO file.

If you want to make your own skin, use Skininator. It has adjustments for shine.

Hey, Cmar, I have a question: Are these compatible with 1.67 (guessing so since you posted just last September about it) and then I noticed in earlier comments that something else is needed to help use them... What would that be and does this automatically show up with NRAAS MC? Thanks for any help you can offer me! I've never really gotten into skin tones before but I'd really like to so yeah!

The skins themselves are compatible with 1.67.

The other part is the skintone panel mod, which is not necessary but makes it much easier to find and use custom skins. You should use the latest version.

These are only for sims 3
Is there a Sims 4 version?

No - Sims 4 skins work differently and I don't know of a way to adjust the shine.

These skins are cool and the skintone panel is really useful!

Hi! I'm trying to make a 'plastic' skin, but it's still matte in game! Anyone knows the cause?

I assume you're using Skininator? Go to the Tones Settings tab, there are adjustments there for shine. If you have problems, please post in the Skininator thread instead of here, and upload your package so I can take a look.

::nab:: -- These look wonderful, but...as these are the first S3 skins I`ve ever downloaded, I`m not quite sure what to expect... I`ve downloaded all of the skins, but not the Skin Tones Panel mod, and I`ve seen both that it *will* work with the current patches and that it will *not* work with them. Either way, though, the skins themselves work across patch versions, apparently. I`ll have to remember to come back here and get the thing if I cannot find the skins without it.
