New Mesh
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Here are some holiday decorations for your simmie's homes. There are 5 new meshes: 3 single snowmen, a group of 4 snowmen to match and a box of ornaments. If the single snowmen look familiar- they are from last year. They've been updated so they can be placed on fireplace mantles and the textures were updated. If you have the old ones, replace them with these if you want them.
The small and medium snowmen are slaved to the large snowman, so you must have that one for the other two to work in game. The group of snowmen is not slaved to the large snowman, but there are 2 subsets so you can use all 4 textures at once. The box ornaments in the box are the ornaments from the Maxis Christmas tree. They are NOT slaved to the tree ornaments. I personally hate the textures on those and wanted to use my own and I wanted them shiny! Ornaments are shiny! All can be found in Decorative>Misc for 15 and 25 Simoleons. NOTE: The ornament box is on the high poly side for a 1-tile object. The ornaments were taken from the Maxis tree- lowering the polycount didn't work out well, so I left them be.
Credit goes to Pixelhate for exploring the TXMT so others could learn (shiny!shiny!shiny!) and KiaraRawks for her toybox - I borrowed the box part to edit (and the clean texture) since the box was just the size I needed.
Polygon Counts:
Lg, Med and Sm Snowmen - 134
Snowman Group - 528
Box of Ornaments - 1544 (Maxis Ornaments)
Additional Credits:

What a wonderful and original idea! Especially the box of ornaments! Those are the perfect decoration to have sitting out by that Christmas tree. Plus the snowmen are adorable and would look nice sitting both inside and/or outside! Thank you!

These snowmen are adorable! They've given me the inspiration to finish another similar project of mine. (Spring related, so I might wait on them a bit though). I love people who decorate their sim houses for holidays. I never seem to celebrate them in my own game - my poor sims! The box of ornaments is awesome too, makes the holidays seem busy, like an actual activity instead of just decorations.

These are wonderful!!! I think I even have something like those snowmen boxes stashed away somewhere -- in real life.

Thanks so much for the replies and you're welcome!
Deatherella- you just might! I've seen snowmen like these in real life. In fact, the idea came from an old magazine with folk-art holiday crafts.

We use to decorate our houses for Christmas late November or early December. I'll decorate mine next weekend and I just realized I never celebrate Christmas on my game or even decorate my Sims houses for Christmas... Maybe it's about to change because I loved these decor items! The snowmen are so cute and the ornaments are perfect! Thank you for sharing!

Love the "chipped paint" look of the snowmen, very nicely done.

Thank you! These are very nice and useful ;-) Is Kiara's toybox the mesh? Or is it not necessary to download in order to use your deco-box?
