New Mesh
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding - The Medieval Kitchen Part 2
Hot Beverage Barrel, Shelves, and Cupboards Greetings, good gentles/ladies. We are The Merrye Makers - a group of eleven creators spanning all disciplines (clothing, lots, objects, etc.) offering for thy downloading pleasure a collection of medieval things most beauteous from Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding -- otherwise known as "Simdom Pudding". The kitchen of a manor or castle in Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding was a well-organized and carefully coordinated operation. It required many hands and hard work to operate in a kitchen with a wood or coal heating source and no running water. The kitchen was diligently kept clean by those who were neat, and this relied upon hours of manual labor by workaholics. The staff consisted of dozens of handy servants assigned to specific tasks, which took place in various rooms. The necessary manual labor was achieved with a variety of pots, pans, buckets and other storage containers, and solid and perforated spoons. Other equipment such as bellows, turn-spits, and mortars were found in some manors in Simdom Pudding. Alcoholic beverages were always preferred throughout the kingdom. They were seen as more nutritious and beneficial to digestion than water and were less prone to putrefaction. However, a hot beverage favorite of King Crumplebottom’s was Barley Tea. Natural cooks steeped barley in hot water, added honey, cut it by half, and served it at his castle table for an amazing meal moodlet. Another favorite beverage was Granatus – thick, sweet, pomegranate syrup -- diluted with hot water and served with one part sugar. Princess Jocasta enjoyed it with bread for her morning repast to fulfill her hunger bar. Through it she gained a sugar rush. Later, coffee and tea became popular throughout the realm.
