Hoo-rah! Finally! I am so glad to say that I was able to make this thing possible! The Sims 2's Loading Screen Themes are now in The Sims 3! and when I say themes, if you already don't know, I mean the music! Many people do not like The Sims 3's music, and have sort of a nostalgic crave for The Sims 2's themes to return.. and I am here to let you dive into that craving! (TESTERS WANTED, See bottom of post!)

This works with patch 1.36 (Diesel Stuff Patch)

Oh no you dont! You can only have ONE of these installed since they override the same file, and would conflict with each other! Choose wisely! Also, you install these in the normal place (C://Users/Documents/ElectronicArts/TheSims3/Mods/Packages..) it doesn't require any place special.

You must have the latest patch (1.36) for this to work. You do not need any expansion/stuff pack.

Important Note: This mod overrides the file "Sims3_Main_Theme01" from Fullbuild01.package, and will conflict with any mod that modifies that file. It replaces..well, of course, the main theme on the loading screen. It should play whenever you exit the game as well!

If you have Late Night and/or Pets: This does not replace the main themes that come with these expansion packs. In order to keep this base game friendly, I chose to stick with overriding only the Main main theme. You will hear the other two themes play, but whenever the main theme is queued.. you will hear which ever flavor theme you picked out!

Okay, first, if you are testing this mod, I want to say thank you so much!
This is going to require a lot of patience! Especially if you have the Late Night and Pets EP. Just please bare with me!
All I need you guys to do is to test all four flavors. Remember, you can only have one installed at a time! If you load up the game and you get a different theme (not the main theme) exit out and restart again. The themes are chosen randomly to play at the loading screen.. so there's no guarantee that the custom one will play first. Just know that you should not hear the main theme played at all! Please report any issues with these back to me!
