Sometimes that marvellous long, flowy hair gets in the way of your samurai sim's furious katana swielding, soldier's epic ride to battle or whatever super manly stuff your dudes might be doing, it's just never a good time to have hair flying all over your face! So tie that mane up, and enjoy your newly found freedom in order to be the alpha-man you need to be! And since pony tails are for ponies, ya gotta tame your mane by tying it up or down.
These hair styles are now enabled for teen to elder men.
You can choose from two CASP files: one enables the hairs ONLY for men, and the other makes them still show up for women as well in addition for men.
The tied up hair mesh doesn't clip at all, unless your sim's body size is a lot over the middle part of the scale.
The tied down hair clips a tiny bit with the ears, if the ears are very close to the head.
You can see that my model's ears are quite small and very close to the head, so this is the point when you'll see that tiny bit of clipping.
This file DOES NOT CONTAIN THE ACTUAL HAIR! This file is just a tiny CASP override file which simply makes the game recognize this particular item for men. So you need to download the actual hair from the provided link, as well as download the override file by me.
1) Download the override file in this thread
2) Download the actual hair file from the provided link
3) Put both files in your packages folder
DOWNLOAD THE ACTUAL HAIRSTYLES FROM THESE LINKS!!
Tied down hair
(under SIMS3 -> hairs -> page 8 -> first hair)
You only need to install the 'rose_sims3_hair074_af'-package file. The other two are for children and toddlers.
Tied up hair
by Peggy, converted for TS3 by Anubis360
BTW you don't have to install the bow. :D
Polygon count for Rose hair - 3074
and for Peggy hair by Anubis - 5500+ polys for HQ, and around 3400+ for LQ.
These files override the following CASP resources of the original hairstyles: efhairanubis360peggyhair5626v4 and roseD074afHairBP.
These files shouldn't conflict with anything, unless some other mod alters the same files. But since there are no other versions of these hairs out there, it's highly unlikely that you'd get problems.
If you are using the Dashboard tool, you may get a warning about conflict. You can ignore that, as it refers to the override.
