According to Veronaville's descriptions about the Monty family, it is mentioned that they own a restaurant. Antonio simply has a job as an Executive Chef, and Claudio (when resurrected) is a Sous Chef. Isabella also loves to pose with her Baked Alaska.
To make things more interesting, I decided to make their "restaurant" become a reality. This lot is a fully ownable community lot restaurant and bakery.
Basically, the building is designed to match Veronaville, but can be placed anywhere (even I placed it in Bluewater Village). The lot was initially just a restaurant, but business was so well that I added the bakery section.
I tried to make things a little, well, realistic. Real life Montys would probably have used a nice clay oven to bake their bread or pizzas. So I just settled for a pot stove, which gives a classical touch to their overly modern kitchen.
The restaurant has two dining areas, a bakery, a kitchen and a toilet.
This lot isn't exactly an eye-catcher, but it's a very reliable lot for your Sims to make some Simoleons. I recommend you have around 5-7 Sims to manage the lot, with at least two of them good at cooking. What I did was package a few Montys and Gales (I renamed the Capps to become patrilineal) into Pleasantview, so:
Antonio Monty - Chef
Claudio Monty - Baker (Makes desserts for sale)
Cordelia Gale - Hostess
Benedick Monty - Salesperson/Cashier
Juliette Gale, Romeo and Beatrice Monty - Servers (Normally I use only two)
And here's another tip: If you're worried about the Atrociously Evil Witch causing Vermin and a bad reputation, just invite her in and show her the menu. She'll just eat, tip and leave. But be quick or else she'd have already cast the spell.
Now about the compatibility. I had all EPs and SPs installed when I built this lot, but I'm not sure how compatible it is. I know this though, you MUST have Nightlife, Open For Business and Kitchen and Bath Stuff, and most probably Seasons. I recommend you have all EPs and SPs though; you can get the best of it.
