I admit I didn't want to download these right away bc they are not "North American" hehe... ;-) I'm from Canada btw. I agree though; I like the idea of sims being more whimsical with the idea of a world with its own type of energy, These kinda help that idea for me, but my OCD is kicking in now... I'm obsessed with the idea of electric cords and wall plugs for the game!

It would be sweet if a sim touched the inside of the wall socket with a metal object, they would get a mild electrical shock.

I would love, love US sockets. I have some for my Sims 3 game from The Sims Resource - maybe you could use them as a guide:

Electrical Wall Outlets
Upper Electrical Wall Outlets
Wall Light Switches

Nevertheless - I am so thankful for any light switches/outlets - I miss their realism from Sims 3! :D

@DotNetSafety
Yeah I know. I think I will update them with a smaller version. I'm making light buttons too and those are smaller. So I will make these just as big as the light buttons.
But I'm buzzy making some Custom Content videos on youtube, I want to finish those first.

Glad you like them! I thought about electric cords too, but they are very difficult to make with "stickers". I can look at it again maybe.
I'm also working on light buttons AND US electric sockets.

If I some day discover how to make that I will definitly add that

@aparkinson
I have plans making those too, both light switches as US outlets.

Glad you like them! That was the purpose indeed, making houses more realistic. Just a bummer stuff like tv's and other eletric devices don't have cables.. :P

Thank you very much! With these for a general size guide & your tutorial, I will be able to play around with making fancier versions for my own Sims. There are some fancy oil-rubbed bronze images out there. Not as many brushed nickel ones, but there are a few.

That's good to hear! Good luck making new ones, and if you get stuck, you know where to find me!
