This download is a custom pose or animation. This means that you will need the Pose Player or Animation Player mod by cmomoney installed in order to use the download in your game.
*Compatible with the Pose List Feature of the Pose Player!*

Another, smaller set of ballet poses from me, done in a slightly more "street ballet" style There are 4 solo poses and 8 poses for two sims to partner with each other. These are all free-standing, and you will not need a ballet barre for any of them.

The set is split up into "Soloist" and "Pas de Deux" packages, in case you only want the solo or partnered poses. There's also a package that contains all 12, of course!

Pose tags are as follows (pose code is included in the pose list description as well):

En Pointe--Soloist
1. a_splad_ballet19 -- deep back bend, en pointe
2. a_splad_ballet20 -- passé
3. a_splad_ballet21 -- arabesque
4. a_splad_ballet22 -- sitting on floor, left leg extended

En Pointe--Pas de Deux
1. a_splad_ballet23 -- female pose, penchée
2. a_splad_ballet23b -- male pose, supporting

3. a_splad_ballet24 -- female pose, lift
4. a_splad_ballet24b -- male pose, supporting

5. a_splad_ballet25 -- female pose, lift
6. a_splad_ballet25b -- male pose, supporting

7. a_splad_ballet26 -- female pose, lift
8. a_splad_ballet26b -- male pose, supporting

You can use these poses with either gender sim. These poses do not automatically stretch the male sim to be taller, so if your sims are not the same height, you will need to use an OMSP to line them up correctly.

And as always, you will need to use "moveobjects on" to place your sims in position and they will tangle into a silly-looking mess when you are done. This is okay! Direct them to walk away from each other and all will be well.

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
