You'd think that creating a Sims 4 version of a Sims 1 lot should be simple.....right? Essentially it's not "hard", but boy! was this one a fun challenge compared to what I've done so far! LOL
A member of the community asked if I could build Wrensday's from Hot Date:
Hot Date version
Now, usually I stick pretty close to the original, and with this lot essentially I did. However, I filled it in a bit more and added some color here and there to brighten it up. Nothing huge, just little things. The quintessential original is still there, just spruced up a bit! LOL
The original lot was an odd size: 41 x 32, and putting this on 50 x 50 would be a waste of space. So I gently squished it onto a 30 x 40 lot which worked out well as it replaced Municipal Muses quite nicely.
The original had some items which I had to replace differently: pinball machine, retail cash registers (I used Get to Work registers but as yet don't know if my sim has to run them or an npc will). There's a huge lack of statues in Sims 4, until I realized I could make those wee bitty ones BIG! hehe I've also noticed that for the first time in Sims history,,,,we have NO PUBLIC TOILETS!! Sheesh!! Means building extra walls grrrrrrrrr
It has 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining patio, 2 bars, gift shoppe, music room, and of course the gallery and museum itself.
I did test the lot and it installed well on another computer, as well as being play-tested for routing errors of which I found none. If you find any please comment and let me know.
I used only Base game & Get to Work items, and no custom content.
I hope you enjoy this latest lot in the series!

About Me
I've been playing the Sims since the Sims 1 came out in 2000, and started building lots and creating Sims in the Sims 3.
My favourite builds are worn out, rat infested hovels but I also enjoy the challenge of creating lots that represent buildings in the real world.
All of my lots were created on an iMac, but after getting the new M1 iMac, I've learned some of those lots have graphics issues, so I'm slowly altering them to avoid this issue. I will upload the M1 compatible files when they are completed.
All new builds are completed in Version 1.70 (64-bit Mac). They are tested on a Windows computer and an older iMac running Version 1.67 (32-bit).
