Hmm... call me a crazy mofo for thinking this but how hard would it be to get this to actually be Felicity Island in Castaway Stories? I doubt it's possible but imagine playing this Felicity in Castaway Stories. Either way, this is amazing!

So, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Every time I try to download any of the Populated versions, everyone's names are random english names. I do have the different naming mod for townies, but I'm not sure what is affecting the playables.

Edit: Downloaded SimPE, and the names in there are correct? I'm...stumped.

I think it's got to do with whether you have the UK or US English game version. You can open your Sim's character file in SimPE and look for catalog description. While it should say their name by default, you can click on the language dropdown list and switch to a different English version to get the name that probably appears in your game. The simplest (but not the quickest) fix I know is to click default lang only (or if the incorrect name appears as default, rewrite the name by hand under the correct English) on all those catalog descriptions and commit changes. Perhaps @Adrime or @k-athleen know of a faster solution...

No, sorry, I don't have a better solution.

Well, except of course someone downloads the latest version of the hoods, changes it in SimPE and reuploads it for other users. Then it only needs to be done "once". But I currently have no interest in doing that.

I have the UK version of the game so I just have a little laugh with the names of the natives being... westernized. ^ ^;;

Hmm... but are the description boxes of the playable sims really empty? Also, what's the "Fixed_CSFelicityIsland_SavedSims" for?

Thanks to everyone who contributed in making this hood ~ !

I'm not sure what you mean by description boxes of the playable Sims.

The SavedSims archive contains appearances of Sims. It's not required if you already have the populated version. Basically, you put the packages from the arhive to the SavedSims folder and you'll have access to the "raw" Sims in the Sim Bin (in CAS, the people icon next to the dice) and in Bodyshop so you speed up the recreation process.

Thanks for explaining. I went ahead and removed it since I did install the populated version.

Oh, and I'm sorry. I was referring to the family bio. Please see the attached screenshots.

I've just checked the FIPM in SimPE. You're right, the family bios do appear to be empty. As this version was made by Adrime and not me, it looks like they felt the families don't need the descriptions, or they simply forgot to include them.

I'm still fairly busy IRL so I still have no time to devote myself to touch up the dozens of the neighborhood versions available (or make the download description less frightening too, while I'm at it... ). However, I still immensely appreciate the work both Adrime and k-athleen did by adding the Sims - Jawusa had extracted the Sims way back in 2015 or so, and all I had to do is plop them in. But by the time I finished both this and the vacation destination hood, I got burnt out and decided to put my creative powers over this island to an indefinite rest. I cared a little too much over the details and wanted every bit of "modern" to be gone and replaced by tiki (go tiki!!!) but no matter how much CC I got, there always seemed something that threw me off - and the inability to make Sims walk to work without the carpool showing up was where I gave up completely I think. Though One Day I may get back into it and touch it all up.

Both populated versions don't have family bios. I just had to be certain that they really were empty and that it wasn't some sort of mistake on my part. Thank you very much for responding despite being busy. I appreciate it!
