I keep reading about a lot of CAS! problems on the forums, so I thought I should post the Original CAS! packages, for people who seem to have forgotten to back up their files. Its no fun re-installing over such small files. No, no no. No fun at all.

Remember, if you have any EPs, both the CAS!.package and the YACAS!.package, MUST be installed into both The Sims 2's GlobalLots, AND to the GlobalLots for your latest expansion pack.

I have named and numbered them accordingly to make it easier to see what version you are downloading.



1 - For The Sims 2 (base game), install CAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


2 - For University (EP1), install YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 University\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


3 - For Nightlife (EP2), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Nightlife\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


4 - For Open For Business (EP3), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


5 - For Family Fun Stuff, install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


6 - For Glamour Life, install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Glamour Life Stuff\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


7 - For Pets (EP4), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Pets\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


8 - For Seasons (EP5), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Seasons\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


9- For Celebration Stuff Pack, install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Celebration! Stuff\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


10 - For H&M Stuff Pack, install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 H&MŽ Fashion Stuff\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


11 - For Bon Voyage (EP6), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSData\Res\GlobalLots


12 - For Teen Style Stuff (TSS), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

13 - For Freetime (FT), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

15 - For The Sims 2 IKEAŽ Home Stuff (IHS), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

16 - For The Sims 2 Store Edition (Store), install Cas! and/or YACAS! to:

A much easier way to get custom CAS screens, is to first make a new subfolder and name it CAS (Nightlife and up required for this), then download Empty CAS screen by windkeeper and put it into the new CAS folder your just created. Then download a CAS screen like THIS one, and drop it into that same CAS folder you just created. It goes directly into your download folder and does NOT require rewriting any files in the EA program directory. Always remember that Just ONE CAS!.package can be in the folder!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to extract the .package file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).
