Here are table cloth and placemat meshes. I had been thinking how boring the maxis tables were so I came up with these. There are meshes to cover a 1x1, 2x1 and 3x1 tables. Maxis didn't create all their tables with the same height so I had to design it for the highest table. These items actually "sit" on the floor, so they won't prevent you or your sim's from placing food on the table. You can use the placemats with or without a table cloth. Multiple placemats can be placed on a tile, just rotate the mat as you place it.

I had a hard time figuring out how to get these to work without then preventing table interaction. But I then remembered Echo's rugs. I studied her rugs and was able to base these on them. Thank You Echo for your hard work. I also used her tutorial on adding tiles to an object.

Notes
The 1x1 and 3x1 TableCloth requires the 2x1 to be installed.
The tablecloth and/or placemat texture sometimes bleeds through places when placed on the table, depending on table height. It hasn't prevented them from interacting with the plate though.
