Sunset Valley has a great new addition to its thriving arts scene- PLAY HOUSE. This fabulous new space is a center for the performing arts. Over 30 events have already been scheduled, including: The Simharmonic Orchestra, The Riverview Opera Company, and The Twin Brooks Clog Dancers. With seating for dozens, you will want to secure your prime seats early.

Play House was built at 500 Sunnyside Blvd. Sunset Valley has claimed the breathtaking location overlooking the shore by eminent domain. This was the former residence of the Wolffs, who tried to prevent the city from taking possession, but they did not prevail. The Wolffs have been relocated to 55 Water Lily Lane, a Pre- Fabulous one bedroom, and the previous owners threw in their Sloppy Jalopy to sweeten the deal.

The new playhouse has rehearsal space and an onsite gym and dance studio. They have a lovely banquet hall that is available for weddings and other events. Please contact Play House manager, Claire Ursine, for more details. The Play House foundation is being co-chaired by Cornelia Goth and Cycl0n3 Sw0rd. Geoffrey Landgraab is serving as treasurer.

Opening weekend for Play House has the community all atwitter (no- not that twitter), with many special appearances scheduled, and even a few surprises. The website will be going live this week, so don't miss out.

Attention: This lot is a LIBRARY FILE, not a sims3pack. You DO NOT install it through the launcher. It DOES NOT go in your mods folder.
Navigate to Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3> library. Place it in your LIBRARY folder.

This is a remake of the Sims 3 Store- Skylight Studio, which was completely gutted. This new version has a large auditorium with orchestra seating and an orchestra pit, and a second level balcony. If you have Showtime, a Showtime Stage will fit perfectly over the current stage.

The EA version was zoned a gym. My version is all about performing arts. There are small rehearsal rooms on the left side which lead to the backstage area. The third floor has a small gym and dance studio for the performers to use. If you have the Dance Equipment from the Sims 3 store, this would make a great addition. I also recommend placing Kitabalibar's YOGA RUG in the studio.

The third floor has a Banquet Hall that is perfect for Sim Weddings and other parties. Since the arts are always fundraising, the fourth floor has a Reception Room which leads to the Rooftop Garden, perfect for getting sims to part with their simoleons. There are restrooms with showers for the performers in the backstage area. There are large public restrooms on the second floor.

The lot was built in Sunset Valley, after I mercilessly bulldozed the Wolff residence. It is a great spot to place it, to allow amazing water views from all levels. If you have any questions, please let me know. Enjoy!
