Calling all my quirky Sims and Simmers! Here is a home great for your nature loving, eco-recycler, artist, hippies - wow, is that a mouthful! At first glance, you may think, "Oh no, she has lost it now and gone way overboard on this one." Let me walk you through my madness process. Hang in there... Inspired by the application foundation provided in a prior contest, I decided to make a home for each family on the Round 2 foundation with the budget of 35k. I have also tried to adhere to the rules of the contest in regards to the families needs and wishes, to make this a fun challenge for myself. You will find all their requirements met for the home as per the old contest rules.

1. Nature lovers - You will find a very green, leafy, well-manicured lawn with all three types of fruit trees, eight garden plots to grow your own food, hydroponic garden, compost bin, weather controller, fishable small pond, gardening tool deco and touches of ivy inside and out. Let us not forget about the section of roof that is greenhouse, to let all those sunny rays from bright days into the house.

2. Eco-recyclers - The toilet and tub flower planters, as well as the step ladder with tin cans give a little brightness to the greenery of the yard. A rusty tin roof, reclaimed barn panels, worn fridge, tattered couch, recycled spool end table, bookcase made from cinderblocks and an Eclectic and Enigmatic Energizer (cobbled together from various parts) express desire to still find use in "old, discarded" things.

3. Artists - One of the original contest requirements for the Rhodes was a place to "sew, paint and make pottery". These have all been filled with two easels, a sewing machine, a pottery wheel and one bonus - flower arranging station, which I think calls to both the artist and the nature lover.

4. Hippies - Long left in the past are their hippie days, but some parts of the home remain decorated as such, as I'd imagine the Rhodes not let those memories go just yet. The bathroom is fully decorated in a funky hippie theme, down to the windows; and the kitchen retains cool counters plastered with flowers in a bright yellow and green theme.

I hope you find some nature loving, relaxed Sims who seek peace and simple comforts to place in the second incarnation of the Rhodes home. I also hope someone enjoys this odd little home as much as I do!
