added on July 1st These light switches can be clicked in live mode to turn on or off lights, change the color, etc. The only thing you can't do is limit features to "this light", because that would refer to the switches which, of course, aren't actually lights. added on November 16th These stairs are the scripted version of the stairs Gosik and Inge made from the Generations EP spiral stairs. Gosik made the mesh and textures, while Inge made the script and edited the routing slots and rig. The scripted version stops the sim animating (the sim now just snaps from the bottom to the top instead of walking up) and also disables the sliding down rail interaction. added on January 29th Ok, so I, for one, hate building run down factories and warehouses and such with straight, perfect columns and accents. Anyone else? If so, here's a nice set of broken and run down concrete style columns with exposed metal supports. There are three columns total and all have three CAStable parts; the concrete base, the exposed metal rods, and the broken/chipped sections. I priced column #1 higher than the other two by mistake so they don't all show up together in the catalog - sorry. The files once unzipped are in package format. added on May 21st Feemwald is a growing German site (on-line since 2007) with quality Sims 2 downloads. It's described as a "Treasure Chest for the Sims 2". *There are both Theme-based (at present Castle and Cathedral only) and Modern downloads. *There are Categories for everything from Clothing to Accessories (Note: A few of the Subcategories don't have downloads YET, but there is much to see!). *There is an awesome collection of library shelves (some being 2 stories high). *There are 2 picture frame TVs with a collection of picture and frame recolors available (noted in the picture). *There are a myriad of carpets and period paintings (with some being paired with Doors including another version of the Harry Potter Fat Lady useable door). *There are a few excellent props for story telling (my favorite being add-ons for Dragon-Slaves horses and a Posebox to place people on them)! If you haven't seen this site...be sure to check it out! Note: The site is available in both German and English. Of course, I found it easy to navigate in German and didn't realize that there was an icon in the upper right corner with the UK flag on it for until after I had thoroughly explored the site! added on May 21st Wow Garden of Shadows has an awesome Sims 2 update! The May project, a group effort by a lot of simmers, is called 'Apocalypse : Something Went Bang!' Many things to choose from. Especially if you enjoy making hoods that have a post-apocalypse theme. Just a few of the things that they have up for grabs are: * A study of a scientist, who is struggling to find a cure for an infection in a post apocalyptic world. Very cool grubby feel to it. * Grunged up wallpapers * A new mesh set called 'Condemned'. Which is boards to make boarded up windows. (Very cool). * Some wicked looking sets of sims. 2 sets that I saw. * 9 grubby night gowns, or 'hospital gowns' which an example is pictured in the Night Zombies screenshot.
