Done procrastinating!

...for now.

I've decided (a while back) that it is time that I get ON my lazy rump and start creating again!! I have a project that I have been slowly working on for a while, but for some reason most of my faces are missing. I am hoping to figure it out and get it working tonight. If not, then... uhm.. maybe another time, LOL!

One thing I can't deny: life sure has been demanding today! I brought my van in to have the drivers side CV Axle replaced, and ended up having to have the whole hub bearing replaced, too - also finding out I need to do the same on the passenger side. Lovely. $320 down today, with another $160 on the way when I can afford the other side. At least with sim cars, stuff doesn't break that you have to spend money on, lol.

Back into the creating world!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everyone!!

I hope that everyone has a safe and happy 2007!

I am trying to motivate myself to create again. I know I've been saying that for a month or two, but the only thing keeping me from actually doing it is the fact that I haven't any thoughts of what to make. I know of a few projects, but that takes a different kind of motivation. lol If anyone has any requests, bring 'em on!

Once again,
Happy New Year!

I'm still here!

Well, I haven't been around much lately - been pretty busy. I'm sure some of y'all probably think I dropped off the face of the earth. I haven't done much in the form of creating, though you would think I would since I finally have a high speed connection! Since you can't get cable or DSL where I live, we were stuck having to get satellite internet. A little more than we prefer to pay, but oh well - its fast

Pretty soon I should get back into creating - I finally have the updated simPe and net frameworks (takes all day to download on dial-up.. a few minutes on high speed- yay!). I've been spending a lot of time with my work, getting ready for Christmas concerts, etc... I'll pick back up soon!

Bye!

Gone for a day..

Wow - You'd be amazed at how much you miss when your phone line goes out for a day, lol! I am one of the select few in the world still bound to dial-up internet, so the phone line is a very important part of our household. Though, for some reason, ours didn't work (day before yesterday into yesterday), yet none of our neighbors had the same problem (yes we paid the bill). You never know how much you depend on your internet connection until you don't have one, lol.

Anyway, as some may know already, I am musician, and spent the whole day sunday messing around with recordings... I thought that perhaps a few of y'all might be interested to hear what I did, so I've uploaded a short little something that I played. It is a Christmas song, O Come O Come Emmanuel (740kb).

I am a music teacher, and I run 2 homeschooler's bands that are gearing up for Christmas concerts. Every 6 months or so we perform for the people in nursing homes... they love it so much! A few of the kids have put together a bluegrass band and when they play, it is such a sight to see the old people get up and dance! Ohh, that reminds me: I need to get off the internet now and put together the program for this year.

Bye!

Slowing Down...

Well, I uploaded my nativity scene, but it doesn't look like too many people really cared. lol At least its there for the taking if anyone wants to add it to their list of Christmas decorations!

As for now, I have no project ideas left, other than filling requests and waiting for something exciting to happen. I guess I'll just finish this current request and wait to see if I get any ideas or any more requests.

Maybe I'm supposed to take some time off of the computer to work on my van.. I dropped my front end in a ditch the other day and cracked my exhaust, so that screams for attention every time I get in it to leave. That is going to be an all day task to fix. At least my van is pretty high up off the ground and that is all that happened to it! All I can say, is thank God my neighbor has a 4-wheel drive truck. LOL!

Sure, why not.

I've been seeing this 'Journal' thing for a while, and I think I may give it a shot.

It has been great to see everyone so interested in the Christian content that I am making. On my first Christian item, I was expecting to get a lot of negative response to it, but to my surprise the majority seemed to like the idea! It sure makes it comforting for me to keep at it.

I'm trying to talk myself into getting started on my next project, though I won't say quite yet what it is, incase it doesn't actually happen. It should be pretty easy to pull off, it will just take a lot of time in Wings. Maybe this time the poly count will be under 10,000, lol!
