View Full Version : Seriously something wrong....

I installed Family Fun about a week ago. After I installed it, I couldn't make sims because they wouldn't show up and on existing lots I couldn't get a bottom bar. I came here and thought my package file or something got disrupted and I tried replacing that as it said and now may game crashes at the select a neighborhood menu. Help, please!

Try cutting and pasting the sims2 folder from My Documents/ EA Games to the desktop. Run the game- it will generate a new folder. Does the game work?

It works wonderfully, but is all my custom content gone? I have clean installer.

Well, if you read the FAQs that I linked to and that you are also linked to when you post on this forum, then you will see that what you have done is to prove that the problem is caused by something in your Sims2 folder, and that now you have to find the problem folder and then the problem file. Please read the FAQs that I linked you to.
