we should see if we can get Modthesims2 to host some tutorials, or have a Database that has links to them, a sort of organised archive of links.

Excellent tutorial. I left you high ratings :)
I'm going to try it tomorrow. My brain is too fried from split level houses and waterslides today.

You don't have to put downloaded lot files anywhere. You download them to your desktop or any folder you want, and then double-click on them. They install themselves. You can then delete the file. Or keep it, in case you ever want a second copy of the same house, like for another neighborhood.

Here is a working link to the tutorial: http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/search.php?asset_type=story&search=1&key=daihtnaoz7
or try this one: http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/story_detail.php?asset_id=6899&asset_type=story&search=1&key=daihtnaoz7
I don't know why the official site makes it so damn difficult to link to stuff! It's like they want people to be confused.

Sorry about the busted link I posted. :-( Thanks saramkirk for showing a valid link. :-)
