Sims Names Change

Today the names of sims in my Neighbourhood changed.
In some households nobody was affected, and in some houses some sims were affected. Dogs were affected as well as sims.

4 Dogs changed names to,
Moody
Felix
Didgit
Sassy

1 Female sim changed name to,
Vincent Zhang

3 Male sims changed names to,
Heather Ajjandagadde
Armando Zaidi
Addison Ghast

I thought I could change the problem by gong into simPE and changing the names of the sims back to what they were.

When I opened the neighborhood and went into Sim Browser I found that my sims/dogs which had their names changed showed with their original names.
(apart from one male sim who showed up with his new name which I changed.)

This occurs when you install a new EP or stuff pack in a language different from your previous installs - switching from US to UK English, for example. The game uses different name lists for different languages, so when you switch it starts reading from the other one, which causes the weirdness you're experiencing.
