mesh import issues

hi,
When I try to import my mesh into simPE, I get an error saying "one of the imported mesh groups has to many faces or vertices's" even thought the count is still fairly low. Is there any way to bypass this so that i can import my plant mesh?

If you go into the SimPE preferences, there should be a tickbox for "advanced mode" which will allow you to import higher-poly items.
