So, I setted up this new business, the red-neck (a pub) and I want it to have a pianist. I want him to bee employed by the business owner. Could I hire an employee and them make him play the piano ? Will he stay there playing ? Or should I use something (hack to force him to stay?).
I DON'T have university so I CAN'T get my sims to perfom. But, I still want a pianist for the red-neck pub.

Thanks in advance !

I don't recall piano player being one of the assignable jobs, but I DO have Uni. Sims seem to love making a beeline for any instrument as soon as they see it, so you might be able to just leave the piano there and let any interested sim play the piano without having to pay them to do it. (Which would help your business cash flow.) If you get an employee playing the piano, you shouldn't have much trouble keeping them there until they have to take a bladder or food break. (And maybe not even then.) At least in my game I need to call the piano playing sim over from across the room if I want my sim to get a chance on it. They don't stop otherwise.

Yes, but it requires university.

Oh I see. Then I guess you could just hire an employee and make him playabe with the testing cheats and get him to play the piano for tips or something.

That's what I thought; but, won't the pianist walk away to do real business stuff ? Is there any way to force him to stay playing the piano ??

He won't go away if you don't assign him any of the normal jobs. I guess you could put him and the piano on a stage without any stairs. He's bound to play it for lack of anything else more intersting to do. But if you make him playable while on the lot, maybe he'll play by himself. I have a family where both the guy and his wife could spend the whole day playing the piano. They do have other things to do in the house, but I think that's the most attractive object on the lot. They even ignore the computers and they've got two of them. Maybe because the piano was one of the first things they got.
