After CAS, Sims faces change! Help...

Ok this is sooo annoying. Everytime I go into CAS, make a family with some pets and leave, once I start playing the sims faces change into a Maxis (or EA i guess) one. 4 times in a row so far. I was wondering how I can stop this lol...

This happened to me as well, and I never figured out how to fix it. What I did do, however, was recreate the sims that had their faces changed, then merged it with the existing family that had their faces changed, and killed off the ones with the changed faces. The replacements' faces stayed the same. :x

Don't make a family with pets, move them in later. It's a Pets issue.

Aijux, the thing is though, I have made families with pets before and the faces haven't changed. It really only became a bother today.

Yes, I have this problem even without having any pets at all on the lot! But, fortunely, changing their appearance again made their faces normal (sad part is, it was after I changed appearance that it happened :weep: ) I hope they release a patch soon! T_T

It happened once with me. I just used the boolprop cheat and made the sim aspiration got plat. Then I turned off the cheat. I used the cheat to unlock the career rewards and gave him the plastic surgrey one. I altered his face using that and put the reward in his backpack.

I don't play much because of that glitch. I'm waiting for the patch.......

I'm glad I'm not the only one this is happening too. It switches to the 2nd Maxis face. Incredibly annoying.

I don't think so... seeing as this doesn't exactly mean it's my computer, it's the game... also seems to be a bug, again with the game.
But then again I could be wrong :)

Personally i agree with Oniella. It's not something we can fix. And there are already a few threads on this in tech help, so we are aware of the problem.

It's a strange type of bug though as it doesn't happen in all games- my daughter and I both have all EPs and SPs, with all of the latest patches. This doesn't happen in our games so I'm wondering if it is something that is affected by which EPs you have perhaps?

Maybe... Like I said it only did a few times, but still don't it to happen again!

I don't think that's true I have all EPs and SPs (well except for the first holiday pack) But I'm having the same problem. Just my thoughts...

Actually, the faces of my new sims changes even if i move them in their house without a pet. :\ It happened to 3 families on 4 created. The one that did not change had pets with them when they moved in. That bug seems a little hectic and to happen quite randomly.

I have all expansions and no stuff pack at all.

That's strange :blink: Either way it's almost certainly a problem with the Pets EP. So again, hopefully they'll release a patch to fix it. So far I haven't had any of their faces change when I move them in without pets. I hope it doesn't start happening :(

Yeah... I'm a little reluctant to play now, i don't want to mess up the face of my sims, particularly the latest ones i created.

I'm sad about this too... it happened 3/4 times where I created a new family... made me sad... just spent a gazillion hours making a beautiful female sim. Or at least a couple of minutes. :P
