This island counter is repositoried to my kitchen basic counter and was showing up perfectly well in game until I needed to add a texture and TXMT for some shadows. The shadows are now showing perfectly but both counter and finish are flashing blue. I have gone through the whole package and everything seems linked properly so what am I overlooking?

I don't know which TXMT your pointing to for your alphas, since the name doesn't match either this package or your main counter package.

The countertop/finish is linked to ##0x1C050000![buggyb-13.12.2007-b2e0] (main mesh) TXMT.

The gshad is also linked to that one.

But the alphahandle and the alpha are linked to ##0x1C050000!counter[buggyb-21.5.2009-cc14] TXMT, but the name of your TXMT in this package is shakerliciousisland[buggyb-26.5.2009-d3438] - not sure which file your linking the alphahandle and the alpha to.

The txmt and all the other alpha's wherever they are pointing to work fine. It's just the countertop and counterfinish subsets pointing to the kitchen basic counter which are now flashing blue in game although they are correctly linked and that happened after adding the TXMT and Texture ressources for a groundshadow. I've checked the usual suspects including the text lists but I've found nothing obvious. mmmm...

I realise now that I made a mistake on the previous package (forgot a "0" in the material mesh names but adding that just made the whole game crash so I started again with an entirely fresh package. The main subset textures and alphas are showing but now I'm back to a horrible dark square for the groundshadow:

Can anyone help me with this?

I do believe shadows need to be set to ExtRaw8bit and not Dxt5. Shadow showed up properly when I changed it.
