Learning skills while reading

I don't know if this was a hack of some sort, or an object. But I used to be able to learn anger management, fire safety, parenting, etc. when I would click on a bookcase. Now I can only do the main skills. Does anyone know where I can find something like this, or maybe tell me why mine doesn't do it anymore?

These skills came with EP's. Parenting came with FT, the others with AL.
Are you using custom bookcases that aren't updated?

Nope, no custom bookcases. I just use the ones that came with the game, and I have all the EP's. Hmmm strange.

Sounds like a hack or CC conflict of some sort.
