Help! My game keeps crashing!

I've been playing the sims 3 on my computer ever since it came out and it has been running fine. However, today I wanted to install the indiestone mod and also installed the helpermonkey thing. I tried to play the game, and right after the short movie in the beginning, and enters the loading screen it crashes. I tried everything the site recommends such as remove caches and such. But there was also no mod folder in my electronic arts folder created. Can anyone help me!?!

1. You posted this in the WRONG forum. If you had read the site guidelines, you would know that there is a Technical Support forum you should be venturing into....

2. This happens to everyone. Just keep re-loading your game, and eventually it will load.

well, this thread may be in a slightly wrong place, but i mgiht be able to help anyway...

If you say there is no mods folder in your Electronic Arts folder, then make sure you are looking at the right folder. The Mods folder will not be in My Documents-Electronic Arts-The Sims 3, it will be in Program Files-Electronic Arts- Sims 3. If the mods folder is not in either of those locations then the helper monkey may not have installed properly. If it is, and the game is crashing, then maybe try re laoding the game a couple of times and see if it works.

Of course, if your game is patched past 1.2.7, you can only use Indiestone in conjunction with the Awesomemod core.
