Error Code 12

I was doing a make over on one of the lots, the one with all the water. Everytime I delete the water and save it I get "Error Code 12". I have tried several things. Removing all my CC files. Deleting CaspartCashe.pkgs, scriptCashe.pkgs, simcompositorCashe.pkgs. Then deleting all the files in WorldCashe Directory, and also set high detailed lot no higher then 4. I am still getting the error. What do I try next?

There is a Game help section for Sims 3. I suspect you would want the Gameplay section which is here :

Do a Save As. Error Code 12 means your existing save file is corrupted.
