hey all
well i've been searching for this issue for days and i really ran out of posts to read on this site but i couldnt find the exact answer. i built a house on a very large lot -dont know why i chose that large though- and i want to decrease the lot size without harming the house -of couse if its possible-. i didnt try the lot adjuster but as far as i read, it doesnt seem to be the very exact solution for my problem. and i dont want my computer to crash so i havent tried it. i wanted to learn if there is a way of doing it first from here or else im gonna have to try lot adjuster.
thanx in advance

The LotAdjuster is your only option:

Choose the advanced option "Enable Shrinking". Then, specify a negative number for the amount to change each side of your lot. Note that you should have nothing on the area which will be removed. Be sure to backup first, in case you have any problems.

Can you explain why you don't consider this to be the solution to your problem?

thanx for the response
well the reason is i read some comments about the programme and saw some users had problems after using this. i have all the sims 2 expansion packs downloaded and my computer can hardly open the game so i didnt think of it in order to keep my computer or game from any problems. but now im gonna use it, thanx again
