Sim traits.

I'm waiting to chat with an EA rep as we speak but I was just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem I am.

Since I updated to the new patch my traits & lifetime wishes aren't showing up in the game. Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes I am and having more issues too. They won't even socialize. :alarm:

Remove all cc from Mods/Packages before installing an EP or a patch. Put back only those items you know are compatible with the update. You may have to go through several test loads to identify all incompatible mods. Don't forget to delete the cache files from My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/ between tests.

I had the same problem, I removed awesome mod and the hidden traits mod and it helped and yeah, don't forget to delete cache files.

I deleted Cache files though I am not sure if you guys mean ALL chache files like the WorldCache, DCCache, and the various *cache files in the main directory.

I removed Hiddentraits mods which I think may have been messing with it, I got my Lifetime awards back but my traits still seem to be missing.

but are you now able to put traits back on your sims? because when I removed the hidden traits mod the traits were gone but I had to put them back on my sims. That is they were now available in the traits list.

Yes we've had to put them back using Lifetime award points, is there a mod that will allow you to change your traits whenever? It's a shame since that means all current sims have now lost there traits.

I had the exact same problem. Turns out it was a mod that was making my traits not show up in create a sim. It was the one that unlock most of the traits for babies. If you have this one delete it because it is not combatible.

enable the "testingcheatsenabled true" cheat then right click on the sim then click modify traits for this sim

Just FYI, it's not exactly helpful to bump a topic that has already been solved 3 months ago. I mean, these guys already solved their problem.
