View Full Version : What's Black and White and Red all Over? My floral texture

I was trying to take the flowers from the OFB plant pretty pot o pansies, and the pot from the mansions and gardens plant, the grey marble one, and combine them adding to my upload found Here (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=380364) to include a textured version, the reason for that is explained Here (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=380320)

Now I went ahead and cloned from the only thing that I could find that fits on tables and ground that has two subsets and that is the base game Venus sculpture on a big wooden pedastal with her arms off. I just edited the OBJD to be decorative/plants, instead of decorative/sculputre, and also edited the BHAV init common to make it placeable on more kinds of tables. Now I noticed that the texure looked odd when I made it, so I figured it must be the TXMT so I went ahead and copied everything from the OFB flower's TXMT into my mesh. But then once I did all that, I realized maybe I shouldn't have copied the texture name, see I'm trying to make it compatible with base game, and if you copy the textue name from OFB flowers, it will require OFB, I checked in Anygame Starter (I can't use BGS because I downoaded base game), and it looked like this:

It looks fine with all my SPs and EPs installed but it looks this way in AGS mode with Univesity/Base Game Only. I want it to look right in somene's game if they only have base game. Please :help:

In TXMT properties the stdMatBaseTextureName is still referencing "plantpottedflowers-flowers-purplewhite" instead of your texture "##0x1C050000!MandGMeetsOFBtexturedTablejimTNW-[TheNinthWave-2.12.2009-22914]-finish-worn".

Change those and you should be good to go (you'll know if they are correctly linked since the textures will show up in the SimPe preview)
