one patch or all?

I bought the Sims 3 CD in August and installed it without any patches. It's worked fine. However, I think I need the patches to keep up to date. So, do I just d/l and install the latest patch, or do I need to d/l them all to install?

I'm pretty sure you have to get all of the patches, since the most recent patch would not contain the fixes from the earlier patches...
So, i'm pretty sure you have to get them all. And in order too i think.

You just need one, if you chose a file like "1.8.x_from_1.0.631.x".
