Installation Clarification

if this is in the forums previously, i have no idea. I didn't see any posts on this so, please bear with me. I just got Sims 2 Bon Voyage and its ready to instal, but I got a disclaimer saying I must reinstall sims 2 and my expansion packs, copy my downloads and some sort...I don't know exactly what I should do so I decided to come here and ask some professionals. Can anyone clarify what I'm supposed to do exactly. Thanks.

You most probably mean the backing up warning typed in the booklet. In case you have a saved game (you played the Sims2 before), you might want to back it up before you install Bon Voyage, so in case you decide to uninstall this EP later, you won't loose your old game, you merely copy it back and can continue playing as you were before installing Bon Voyage. Or, if something goes wrong during the EP installation and corrupts your game somehow, you will have a back up copy of the saved game.
