Lot compatibility

Hi, I was just wondering if a lot created with patch 1.8 would require the downloader to have patched up to 1.8? It's just that you get some new features when you update up to there (or is it a bit earlier?).

Yes, because the recolorable fences and stairs and the new build tools like basement and slider roofs won't work otherwise for downloaders on patch 1.4 and below.

I believe these were introduced in patch 1.5/1.6.

I believe the recolorable fences were patch 1.7. I never patched to 1.8 and I skipped somewhere around 1.5/1.6 since my game was working fine.
