Hello

I do not have lots of experience in modding and my english is not the best, but i hope there ist somebody who can help me.

It's not my first mesh and not the first i import to the sims3. But i didn't had this problem before and i am not sure what mistake i made.
When I import the MLOD and MODL file in S3PE after changing them, S3PE imports them but it does not delete the old files. The only different thing to older "projects" is, that i applied a texture in milkshape because there are more possibilities than with tsr workshop (or not?) Can this cause the problem?

Any idea what mistake i made?

Thank you so much for your help

Are you using the right version of your object? This has happened to me when I had already "fixed" an object in s3oc and tried to replace a resource afterwards.

Easy way around it, if that is the case: reexport/decompile the resource(s) that you want to replace into a new folder, export from milkshape using those files, and then recompile and import them. That way you can be sure that the names/instances are the current ones.

With some resources you can get round this by using Replace rather than Import, but that is not recommended with things like MODL or VPXY that have internal chunks and references, as they too will be out of sync.
