Is there any trick or way to choose a household in another country as active and play there? I like exploring tombs and neighborhoods in the game don't have any tombs. :(

No. The best you can get is to downlad Egypt/China/France from the Official Website. I know France has been made, but I am not so shure about the other two. Sorry for no link. :(

And for the ones in-game, I think you can get vacation homes, and live there for quite awhile.

I think what you can do is find the mod that lets you have longer vacation times: there's one that lets it be infinite, if I remember correctly. Get your visa up so you can buy a vacation home and then never leave. You won't be able to have regular jobs, but you can paint and stuff and sell them that way and earn money. Bad part: you won't be able to go on a vacation! Because, well, you're already on vacation.
