Should I go back to playing Sims 2?

I was just contemplating whether or not to go back to playing Sims 2 instead of Sims 3.
The reason I was going to do this is because I felt as though Sims 3 was becoming quite boring, and Sims 2 had a lot more things to do as I have all of the expansion packs.

All I want to know from this thread is whether or not I should, and if possible, the pros and cons for going back to Sims 2 as this would really help my decision.

I think players need to decide for themselves what games will entertain them. I also think this forum has a surfeit of TS2 v TS3 threads, so I'll be locking this one. Perhaps reading through those other threads will help you. Whatever you choose, have fun!
