View Full Version : The Seven Deadly Sims. Wreaking Havoc on Your Town, One Generation at a Time

The Raven
8th May 2011, 8:50 PM
Note: This is best played as a matriarchy, but mixed/patriarchy is allowed.

Generation 1 is played just as a normal legacy is.

Generation 2: Greed :alarm:

Your sim must marry rich and older. If the spouse is a woman, you must have her be able to bear children.

Your sim should bear a child and murder Spouse #1.

Repeat the above steps as many times as you like, but up to 10 times more. (MAX: 11 times)

You may have a servant (additional sim in the house) to care for the children.

Your sim must reach level 10 of either the business or political career.

Generation 3: Wrath

Your temper is very short, and you flip out at anything, from fires to a dirty dish!

Your first 5 relationships must be broken up. Why? Because you were too mad for them.

You can break up future relationships, but when you find "The One", they're definitely the one you have to stay with until death!

You can rarely hold your children because of your bad temper.

You must reach level 10 of the Athletic skill (if you don't own World Adventures) and/or SimFu (if you do own World Adventures)

Generation 4: Gluttony  :Pint:

Your sim must be noticably fat. (Obese is optional, but prefered)

You must master the Culinary career and the Cooking skill.

You don't find love until you reach late Young-Adulthood/early Adulthood.

You must accept all food realted wants (if male) and/or pregnancy cravings (if female)

When you have kids (if female), you gain a lot of weight!

YOU MAY NEVER BECOME SKINNY OR THIN!

Generation 5: Lust :luff: :lovestruc: :heyhey:

Your sim must have at least 6 lovers and have at least 1 child from each lover in the house.

Your sim must never be engaged or married... ever... EVER!

You may only use "Try For Baby". Never plain WooHoo.

You must spend at least 2 hours of quality time a week with each child living in the house and be extremely loving towards them.

When your kids are older, you encourage them to find romance!

Generation 6: Pride  :king:

Your parent always told you how wonderful you are, so you grew to believe that immensely and became a snob.

You go to the spa at least once a week. Gotta keep up the image!

You must take up the opposite career your Generation 2 heir(ess) did (Generation 2: Business/Generation 7: Politics OR Generation 2: Politics/Generation 7: Business)

When you have a kid (if woman), you hit the treadmill and stay fit.

YOU NEVER BECOME FAT!

Your spouse takes care of the kids. You care too much about yourself to jeopardize your own health and energy.

You must get pregnant at least 4 times. Even if you have twins or triplets!

You don't eat any junk food!

Generation 7: Envy :wtf:

You envied all your siblings and you were a loner, so you never liked your siblings.

You can only have the bare minimum of kids if you play matriarchy or patriarchy. If not, just 1 pregnancy!

Kick out all your parents and siblings! They made your life a living hell!

Your spouse must be at least in a partnership with someone else.

Your children don't have to do anything they don't want to do! You want them to have the priveledged life you never had!

If your children/teen has ANY want to get a piece of furniture, you MUST grant it! No matter what!

Generation 8: Sloth :call:

Your parents never made you do anything, so now you don't want to do anything, naturally.

You must hire a butler (if you can) and/or a maid.

You don't do anything for yourself, not even work!

If you want to learn skills, you must learn it by classes, tv, books or computer.

Most of your day must be spent by either sitting or laying down.

You must have at least 2 kids.

Any questions? Anything to suggest? Please comment! :)

I'm so gonna try this challenge. x) It sounds interesting. My biggest challenge will be the Gluttony generation though. My sims can eat everything in sight and still don't gain weight.

If you have an idea about what child is going to be the heir(ess), you could always start fattening them up at childhood. :) Just a tip, and thanks for trying it! :D

Thanks, I already started my game before I saw this, so I moved in two sims and placed them in the shotgun style home. Oh well, I'll keep going from there for fun.

EDIT: Never mind. I patched my game and it ruined the saved file. :( Oh well, maybe I'll play by the rules this time. Maybe. ;)

I'm on my second attempt of this challenge.

Everything was going great with my first family, until the dad's birthday cake caught fire. This was my first TS3 fire and my sims were even more stupid than TS2 sims. The dad couldn't leave until the whole birthday script ran it's course (he was, of course, an inferno during this and I was unable to cancel the script). The mom couldn't put out the fire on her son the first 3000 attempts (it just wasn't an option). The firefighters stood around more worthless than a TS2 nanny. The kids kept running back inside the house to the fire. The mom was finally able to save her son, but I was so disgusted by everyone that I made the family run into the fire and deleted the game.

Legacy 2.0 is now at the same place - first generation has been born and are children - but it got off to a rockier start. In the first hood, my founder met and fell in love with Sherman Bagley right away, so I was able to start the dynasty and live comfortably within the first week. This time around, the only compatible sim was George Dean, and he was dating someone else. I was getting desperate, she was almost out of YAhood and there really are very few sim men in Riverview. Fortunately, George broke up with whoever he was dating and my sim got him on the rebound.

Well, I finally got my game on track.....but I play slowly, so after a week I'm still in the first generation. But now their Kids!

Maybe I should speed it up a bit.......

I've not played TS3 for very long and can see I'm going to need help on Generation 2.

Background: My sim just hired someone to repair the kitchen sink and instead of going to the kitchen he went upstairs to play chess. There were words between him and the founder and after she left the room I took off the door so he would be trapped and die a slow, painful death. (I really don't make a habit of killing off sims. Really. But he charged her for the non-work.) You folks probably know where this is heading - he transported out of there. So, for Gen 2, what are some effective ways to bump off an older, rich spouse?

My personal favourite is the "Room of Firey Death"

Make a small room, 3x3. Place a stove in one corner, a fridge next to it and direct your sim to cook. Once cooking has started (ie the food is in the oven) cancel the interaction, and direct your sim to stand by the (now removed) door. Place objects all around the stove so that they can't get to it. (plants work well, as they are flammable). Now just wait.

Alternative: Make a small 4x4 room, and make the floor into a pool. Direct your sim to jump in and remove the door. Now just wait. (the pool has to be walled in, otherwise they climb out when drowning).

Seems my heir inherited her father's pyro trait - so "Room of Firey Death" it is! (cackles gleefully)

Haven't been here in a while, so I'm seriously happy that so many people like it!

As for some death methods, my favorites are also The Room of Firey Death and the Pool of Persecution.
I also like starving the SimVictim in a really small room, so they can't move that much, if not at all! It's fun seeing sims suffer!

The name of this challenge is epic, btw. Shame I couldn't think of that, lol. Oh and Generation 1 can be just the typical family right? They have their problems just like any other family but they love each other. Is that what you mean? I'm totally gonna go do this after the challenge I'm working on. :)

My generation three heir just grew into a child, and so far I'm really enjoying your challenge. It's the first one I haven't grown bored of by the second generation. I have one suggestion, though. In generation seven, I think it would make more sense if the heir had to steal their spouse from someone else. Envy desires what doesn't belong to it, I suppose.

I started this challenge about a week ago; the mother had a LTW of raising 5 kids, so I was obligated to let her do that- she had 1singlet and 2 sets of same-sex twins. O.o I chose the firstborn child (a girl named Monica Pendleton) as the heiress, and she has these traits: Friendly (yeah, right ><), Genius, Ambitious, Frugal, and Workaholic. Her LTW is to become a CEO, so that's perfect for generation 2. Monica's dating Sam Sekemoto right now, but I'll probably have to get rid of him to find her a richer, older mate. ;)

This challenge has been a lot of fun so far, but I'm afraid of moving out my spare kids because they might emigrate from the neighborhood forever... Does anyone know if Twallan's Story Progression is Generation-compatible yet? I want to download it so that I can regulate my family better.

The Pendletons are celebrities, so the paparazzi keep stalking them. :(

I started this challenge about a week ago also, and have just moved onto the 2nd generation. The male sim I created found a mate and married, then had 2 daughters. The oldest just aged up and is soon moving out. She has the traits of Genious, mean, brave, athletic and evil. She will be looking for an older mate soon!

Here are a few pictures! I lost quite a few of them, but I salvaged a fair few from my second generation's teenage years, so my founder is still pictured.

Here's the unsuspecting and goodhearted founder, May Belue, teaching Penny how to walk.

The wrathful heir, Christian Belue. His traits make him very conflicted.

Hazel's brother, Luke, wishes that there was NASCAR in Twinbrook.

Hazel's sister, Ophelia, always finds herself eating the healthy alternative to her sister's box of pizza.

Here is Hazel in her late teen years. I think she's gorgeous even with the weight gain. For some reason, though, she won't stay overweight. The pounds just fall off every couple of Sims days. :\

Your parents never made you do anything, so now you don't want to do anything, naturally.

You must have at least 2 kids.
So at what point are you 'Calling it a day' and wrapping up the challenge?
Is it after the second child? Or is there another goal that calls this challenge complete?

:!: Since Generations now allows Divorce would this be an acceptable alternate to Killing off Spouses? :!:
Thank you for an intriguing challenge. - EQ

Ok, so I started but since I'm not good with pictures I'll just tell a story instead.

There once was a woman named Marcia Helersby (Gen1) Who was an evil schmoozer who always got what she wanted. I'm being completely serious about this - her Lifetime Wish is being a gold digger, sadly it will never be completed. She is evil, so she joined the criminal career where she met her boss Sinbad Rotter. After a cup of tea, and schmoozing, she met Goodwin Goode. As a goal of corrupting the town, she manages to seduce him after a night on the town and a few days later gives birth to sweet little, but discplined - Charles Helersby (Gen 2)

I saw in one of you posts, that you might make a Seven Heavenly Virtues challenge. Well, I have never made a challenge before, so lets give it a try!!!!

Okay, 1st generation, just free style, no rules.

Chasttey 2nd generation: You must have at least 6 friends and 2 best friends. You find you love in your adulthood, enjoy being young!!!! At minimum, have 2 kids. And you have to maintain a fantastic relationship with you partner. Adoption is an option if you can't have a child.

Temperance 3rd generation:You must have a level head with things. Make another sim who is the complete opposite of your current sim. You must make it the oppisite sex, and they must get married. At least 1 child. No divorce. No argument. Remember, level head! Adoption is an option!

Charity 4th generation: Your sim must have the good/ evil trait. (Both can donate to charity.) Once your set for awhile (money wise) donate to charity 1 time a week, and it has to be a large sum. Marriage is a must. You must give you spouse a present 1 a week ( flowers are easiest). 3 children minimum. Adoption is an option!!

Dilligence 5th generation: your sim must have the workaholic trait, and consistently work at home. Career is up to you. Since you don't get out much, you never date, or get married. Your sim gets 1 child, only one, by adoption. You don't build a relationship with the child though......

Patiences 6th generation: Your mother never saw you, so you make sure to pay attention to your children now. Your first child turns out to be insain, your second child is a loner, your third child is just plain old childish. You must give your children these traits plus trait that wouldn't make you pleased with their behavior, with the exception on your 4th child who is perfect, and you heir(ess)

Kindness 7th generation: Since your mother was dealing with your siblings all the time, you learn to have compaction in your heart. You and your husband run a daycare center, but you can never seem to conseve a child. You must adopt 2 children, and when their teens, BOOM! 2 more. Repeat until you are an adult, and find your heir(ess)!!! Remember, your sim must have undying love for your children, for fun, make one rebellious!!!!

Humility 8th generation: You still there? Great! As we wrap things up, your sim must be brave, and show no fear! Your a cop, and you meet up with your high school sweet heart. You guys realize that you never stopped loving each other. Turns out, he was cheating on you, wait for it, with you sister!!! (Or she was cheating on you with your brother, who ever you heir is.) Wow! Haven't checked this thread out in a while!

@Selah: There are definitely traits that would be beneficial towards the goals of the challenge, but there are really no mandatory ones. (:

@bmariee: That's awesome! I will be reading it!

@dmoney1922: It's preferred to have a baby, but adoption would certainly be preferable. And as for your own challenge, it would probably be best to put it in its own thread so the comments for these challenges can be separate.

Hi, cutie6792! So in the case of a lot of kids, you'd need to choose your next torch-holder (or the one to have the kids). And you'd need to move the other kids out. (:
