Afterschool glitch?

I didn't see this posted anywhere, so I thought I'd post it here. If it's already here and I missed it, please direct me to it!

So I had a sim family in Generations with six kids (don't ask) all in the children stage. I enrolled all of them in afterschool programs, but only one kid actually stays for the program. All the others leave the building and I can't send them back. Every time I do, I get a popup saying "your sim needs to be in class before going" or something like that.

Is anyone else having this problem? Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong in gameplay?

I am having the same problem in a family with 6 kids as well. The game shows as if the kids are in a school trip when they are really in class.
In another family of 8 sims but only 4 kids, in the same neighbourhood, the afterschool activities work just fine, as in my other saved games

But it seems to be a glitch that only occurs when you've got 6 kids?

Sucks for you guys - hope it gets fixed soon! :( At least my utter laziness when it comes to raising Sim kids - I'll only go above 3 when they've got the 'raise 5 kids' LTW - helps me out at last....

No I had this happen to my sim as well and he is an only child.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this, because it's driving me nuts that my kids are signed up for stuff and never seem to go to them, even when I manually click the button to send them while they are at school!

I was having trouble with school AND after school activities AND field trips. I switched families and when I went back to the family with school kids, everything was working right?

This is an issue that occurs once a kid goes to a school trip (when kids are at school the tag "field trip" is always present). Hope EA will fix this.

I have had this exact same issue. I wonder if resetsim will work to fix it? Going to try that out next time I play.

I've got 2 kids and even if I manually click for them to go they never go to scout afterschool activity. However, field trips work fine.
I've tried to move the family from Twinbrook to Hidden Springs and in both cities happen the same thing. Does anyone installed the new patch (1.26) and had any solution for it? Mine is 1.24.
