where do i put the CC folder?

I put the mods>package folder in
original sims 3 folder
then tried the generations, and none of it is showing up
just the actual sims 3 downloads you download with the download manager

I put it in
(windows 7)
c>program filesx86>ea>sims 3

that is correct right?

can you just tell me the location, like how i explained in my question? i dont need anything to detailed, i have been doing this for a long time, I just stopped playing for a few months and started up again.

It's more complicated than "just put them here" as you need to remove the old installation, use a new Resource.cfg, and put them in a completely different place. There's an "installing package files" link on that page wickedblue gave you - the instructions are fairly simple there.
