This is a challenge PLUS a legacy. Explore every possible career of the Sims 3!
DO NOT WORRY if you DON'T have the expansion packs available in order to do them. You can still do these challenges, just skip over those careers. They don't even need to be done in order, that's how loose this challenge kind of us. The ones that require an expansion pack will be noted, or if an optional flavor is needed.
Careers are in ABC order. (Hopefully)
Firstly, let me go over the rules.
1. Cheats that are ACCEPTABLE: moveobjects on, and you can use motherlode ONCE.
2. You can only have ONE CHILD PER generation. ONLY EXCEPTION is if you got the two/three for one deal. (Twins or triplets).
3. Your LEGACY child is the ONLY ONE who has to follow the rules. Their spouse can do whatever they want.
4. When you pick traits, I don't care what you pick, as long as they can help benefit their future careers.
Second, make a Sim. Male or female.
This is the Adventure Sim! This will require World Adventures.
-Get level 3 Visa in all three locations
-Have a Mummy in their household
-Have completely explored at least 5 tombs/caves
-Marry a local of any of the three travel destination and have their baby/knock the other one up
The Architectural Sim! This will require Ambitions.
-Reach the top of the Architectural career
-Master Painting and Handiness skill
-Repair 10 objects
The Artistic Sim! This is better if you have Ambitions, so you can self-employ, but it's not nessesary. There are a few flavors to this one. One requires World Adventures.
The Art of Painting: If you have Ambitions, must reach the top of the Painter career; Master the Painting Skill
The Art of Sculpting: Top of Sculpture career; Master Sculpting skill
The Art of Photography: Reach top of Photography career; Master photography skill
The Business Sim!
-Reach top of Business Career
-Become a Partner in one business
-100% own at least one building
The Butler Sim! -Does NOT require Late Night, but having Inappropriate, but in a Good Way LTH reward
-Must go to a house at 7am, cook, clean, take care of children and serve the Sims until 8pm
-Must enter kaching every Monday and Thursday
-You can either pick the same house everyday or a new one everyday
-Must marry the Sim you serve often, even if you break up a marriage
The Criminal Sim!
-Reach top of Criminal career: You can go into either branch
-Master Logic and Athletic skill
-Steal at least 50 items (requires Kleptomatic trait)
The Culinary Sim!
-Reach the top of the Culinary career
-Master the Culinary skill
-Make Ambrosia and serve it
The Day Care Sim! Requires Generations
-Reach the top of the Day Care career
-Help with homework at least 10 times
-Teach EVERY toddler you get to either walk, talk or pottytrain. At least ONE is required
The Educational Sim! Requires Ambitions
-Reach the top of the Educational career
-Max the Logic and Charisma skills
-Help your child with their homework at least three times a week
The Entertainment/Show Business Sim! Requires Late Night. Comes in several flavors
The Actress/Actor: Must reach top of Entertainment career in Actor/Actress branch; Must max out Charisma and reach level 5 of Athletic; Must get five stars
The Director: Must reach top of Entertainment career in Director branch; must max out Writing skill; Must get at least four stars
The Farmer/Gardener Sim! Requires Ambitions if you want to self-employ.
-Must reach top of Gardener career if self-employed
-Must max Gardening and Cooking skill
-Must plant and harvest a Money Tree, three Life Plants crops and three Death Flower plants
The Fashionista Sim! Requires Ambitions
-Must reach top of Stylist career
-Must make over at least 50 Sims
-Must max out Painting Skill
The Firefighter Sim! Requires Ambitions
-Must reach top of Firefighter career
-Must max out Handiness and Athletic skills
-Must rescue at least five sims
-Must respond to at least one Earthquake
The Fisher Sim: Requires Ambitions ONLY if you want to self-employ
-Must reach top of fishing career if you have Ambitions
-Must max Fishing and Cooking skills
-Must catch at least five Deathfish
-Must catch at least 20 of every fish minus Deathfish
Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!
-Must reach top of Ghostbusters career (I know that's not the name, but I don't care!)
-Must max out Logic career
-Must release all Friendly, Kind, Frightened and Lost ghosts. Jealous, Wrathful and Evil ones MUST be sold/getten rid of.
-Must marry a ghost (you can kill off a random Sim to marry)
The Inventor Sim! Requires Ambitions
-Must reach top of Inventor career
-Must max out Inventing skill
-Must sell all inventions
-Must make at least TWO SimBots
The Law Enforcement Sim: Two flavors
Special Agent: Must reach top of Special Agent branch; Max out Logic and Athletic skills; Raid the Criminal Hideout at least 10 times
Forensic Analyist: Must reach top of FA branch; Max out Logic and Painting skills; perform analaysis on computer at least 30 times.
The Nancy Drew/Hardy Boy Sim! Requires Ambitions
-Must reach top of Investigation career
-Must max out Logic skill and reach level 4 of the Athletic skill
-Solve at least 50 cases
-Do low-level police work at least twice a week
The Journalist Sim!
-Must reach top of the Journalism career
-Must max out Charisma and Writing Skills
-Must interview at least 10 Sims
-Must write at least 50 articles
The Maid Sim! Helps if you have Inappropriate, but in a good way LTH reward
-Must clean at least two houses a day
-Enter kaching once every Monday and Thursday
-Must marry one of the Sims you cleaned up for
The Medicial/Dr. Sim! Two Flavors!
If you DO NOT HAVE Ambitions: Must reach top of Medicial career; Must max out Logic skill; Must marry a fellow doctor
If you DO have Ambitions: Must reach top of Medicial career; Must max out Logic skill; must perform at least 30 outside-of-work things
The Military Sim!
-Must reach the top of Military career
-Must max out Athletic and Handiness career
-Must marry a fellow Military person
The Mixologist Sim! Requires Late Night
-Must max out Mixology skill
-Must buy out every bar available. If none are available, you must build at least three
The Musical Sim! Three flavors
The Classical Sim: Must reach top of Classical branch; Must max out Logic and Guitar skill; Must hold at least 10 autograph sessions; If you have Late Night, you must get four stars and also max out one other instrument
The Rockstar Sim: Must reach top of the Rockstar branch; Must max out Guitar skill; must hold at least 20 autograph sessions; If you have Late Night, you must get five stars and also max out one other instrument
The Band (requires Late Night): Must reach top of Band career; Must max out ALL instruments
The Politican Sim!
-Must reach top of Politic career
-Must max out the Charisma skill
-Must Inspire Teens and Pep Talk adults
The Mad Scientist Sim!
-Must reach the top of the Science career
-Must max out Gardening, Handiness and Logic Skills
-Must perform at least 20 experiments
The Pro-Sports Sim!
-Must reach top of Sports career
-Must max Athletic skill
-Must hold at least 5 autograph sessions
-Must do advertising deals
The Writer Sim! Requires Ambitions if you want to self-employ
-Must reach top of Writer career if you have Ambitions
-Max Writing skill
-Must write at least 30 books
