I've never had a problem with mods working before, I usually just used no intro and awesomemod. I have a freshly installed copy of windows, and a fresh install of sims 3 and I've put in all the correct folders in the right spots but the mods just aren't working, it's like they don't exist. I even updated my game and it it does the same exact thing. Any help would be seriously appreciated :/

Make sure you patch your game, as it says here, and follow the instructions. If you do it properly (and it shows you pictures to make sure you're doing it properly), it works. Do it any other way but properly, and it, well, won't work.

I attached a picture to show that I am putting the folders in the right spot. I've never had problems with mods before last night, they're in the right spot they just aren't doing anything. I tried it with a fresh install, then downloaded each update individually and updated one at a time seeing if the mods would work and they don't even though I'm updated. I'm doing it right, I just don't know where else to turn.

No one has any idea why? :(

Your attachment isn't showing up. Go through the FAQ again (and download and install the FrameworkSetup.zip) and follow the screenshots.

Please try uploading your image somewhere externally and linking it inline in the post if you still can't get it.

The framework set up is merely the mod/package folder already made for you, it saves about 5 seconds. I'll link the photo now to show you. I tried installing using the framework and also by manually making it myself. Fresh install, everything is up to date and it still refuses to load any mods. I'll say it again - I've never had any problems with mods, it's not exactly rocket surgery. I'm only making a thread because I've done everything right and it still won't work.

Which folder are you putting the mods into? Your mods folder should only have a file called "Packages" and your Resource.cfg file but I see you have two other folders there. If those are meant to be subfolders for organizing your cc, those should be inside the Packages folder.

<_< You can see the file path I've installed the folders, brah, I even highlighted it with red paint...
Also, that photo is what it looks like when you download the Framework.zip and extract the files directly to your Sims folder, saves you about 5 seconds of manual work.

ah, okay. That's the only thing that jumped out at me. Sorry it wasn't more helpful.
edit: okay, you changed your post to be rude while I was replying. I did see your folder path, I was simply asking which one of those folders you put the mods into. Good luck.
