Teen Party!!

Well I got the notification that the parents were going on vacation. I saved the game to play the next day because I was tired. They never left and later I get the notification they are coming back. Has this happened to anyone else?

I've been getting similar problems. look at my thread labeled "what the hell is going on???"

I think it's a bug or something,because all my CC is up to date with the new patch

I'm having issues with it too----it seems all it does is wipe out the wishes/inventories of the adults who leave, they only leave for a couple of hours and the party never works----the guests don't arrive until AFTER the notification 'I guess no one is going to show up to your party"....by then the parents have long since been back from their 'vacation'. I'm looking for a mod to unlock teen parties without that opprutunity because it would be easier to just send the parents out for a night or have them stay at a 'hotel' in the area.

wow, that hasn't happened to me. the only wierd thing that happened was my sim teens had their prom the same day the parents left town. I had no choice but to send the sims to the prom, but eh, would've like to have a party too!
