Launcher question?

I have a question about Sims 3 Launcher. Sorry if its not the most right place to post, i didnt know where else. Anyway i inserted files into Downloads folder, then installed them with Sims 3 Launcher and some of the files could not be installed.. now i want to delete the ones that were not installed.. cause i dont want them to be hanging there just like that and take room. Anyway since its hard to track them by name i thought that i just delete them from Launcher by checking them and clicking Delete. BUT does it delete it only from Launcher or from my harddrive aswell? Cause i want to get rid of them lol, not just delete from Launcher interface.

You can uninstall Custom Content from your game by clicking INSTALLED CONTENT on your Launcher, selecting the things you no longer want, and then pressing "Uninstall"

Delete them from your downloads folder and they'll be gone.

It will delete it from your hard drive as well.
