Anita Blake and Jean-Claude Sims

I started making Anita Blake and Jean-Claude sims a bit back and I wanted to get some feedback on them so maybe I can post them in the future.

It was hard to get a real idea of what they should look like beause there is a lot of different material out there but I settled on a few pictures I will post and followed them as well as a bit of my own interpretations from the books.

What I get from the books is Anita is a short, petite woman with brown eyes and black hair which through the books gets down to her waist and is curly. She's big breasted but with a small waist. She is of mexican heritage but has her father's white skin. She has scars all along her left arm including a cross shaped scar on her forarm and scratches, she also has a bite scar on her collar bone. She usually wears black nikes, pollo and jeans or a skirt suit for work, occasionally she will wear something sexy (tight fiting, leather, short dress ect) for Jean-Claude and in her more recent books she wears matching undergarments. She is brave but also a hardheaded and hotheaded woman although she has a soft spot for her men.

Jean-Claude is a regal old world vampire who is 400 or 600 years old. He has deep blue eyes, long black very curly hair, is tall and very muscular yet thin. He has thick eyelashes and seems delicate but masculine at the same time. He is very pale being a vampire and has a cross scar on his chest by his heart. His personality is a bit cold yet he has a stong connection to Anita and shows mercy to other vampires. He appreciates art and decor and loves to dress in tight pants and fancy shirts. His colors are white, black and red.

Ok so there is what I have on the character. If anyone has anything that could help with their creation then feel free to add it in.

WOW!~ GREAT WORK SO FAR! I will look around for CC Anita is really good, so is Jean, it's like you took them out of my imagination.
I have read EVERY BOOK. LOVE ANITA!!!!

Only thing I see is I think Jean needs different hair straighter at the root with more subtle
curls.

Yeah I have had a lot of trouble with trying to find hair that matches my idea of them. I know Jean-Claude has pretty curly hair and it's longer then that but it's hard to find good curly hair for men...I will keep looking too. I* also want to find some thigh high boots for males!

I was thinking of doing some of the other men like Micah, Richard, Nathaniel and Jason...maybe Asher too. I love them all even when they make me angry like Richard and Asher lol!

If I'm not entirely mistaken, the hair on Anita is a Newsea hair (=pay creator from TSR which aren't allowed to be used on uploads on MTS). :/ But the good news is, that there are tons of other options for long, wild hairs for females!

Browsing through those takes a bit of time, but you will definitely find the hairs for both of them by doing so. :) Just remember to check that it's not a pay item.

Oh, and came across this hair (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,16612.0.html) . Looks quite potential for Jean-Claude.

I unfortunately don't know who these characters are but I LOVE their look, and they would make fantastic sims! I agree that hairdos number 49 and 50 look the best on Jean-Claude.

To help with achieving a resemblance, it's best to take screenies of your sims in-game rather than in CAS, as sims look very different in-game from in CAS and it's only how they look in-game that matters, also it's much better if you put your pics of your sims right next to pics of the real characters (open a large blank New File in your graphics software and paste pics of your sim and the character next to each other), so that it's easier to pick out what facial features need to be tweaked, without having to scroll up and down.

The one thing that does leap out at me from the pics so far, is that both of them have eyes that are too big and too slanted-up - the eyes probably just need minor changes. Both characters look somewhat different in each of the drawings, but overall, Jean-Claude looks like his eyes even slant down very slightly.

# 19 is by Newsea if I'm not wrong. But #32, though I don't know where it comes from is VERY much Anita.

I was so intrigued by these characters that I Googled to find out who they are, and have now purchased the Omnibus volume of the first three Anita Blake novels, because I love a good vampire story!

She's coming along well - the revised eyes are a big improvement. Can you find a drawing of Anita where she's looking straight ahead, rather than down or to the side? Very important in trying to get a resemblance right. Also helps to put her in a hairdo that doesn't cover the sides of her face, so that we can see the shape of the face better. It looks like maybe her head needs to be a little wider and then bring her jaw back to the width it currently is, so that her face is more triangular.

I like hairdo 19 the best for her, but if as the previous poster says, it's a pay hair, then I agree that number 32 could be a good choice.

19 is a newsea my bad I will remove it. I will try to work on her some more and put her in a bun hairdo. Currently I have an exam next week so I'm a bit busy but when I can load it up I will make the suggested changes.

EsmeraldaF - glad you took an interest, I really love these books even tho toward the end of the series it gets pretty MA lol! Also as for the reference pictures I had a hard time finding a straight face that was from the comic and had facial details so I just took that picture and straightened it, I will provide a copy of that picture with my next update.

Update! I tried to work on Anita more including her jaw and head. It's still not quite there but I think it's looking better. I also found another picture with a bit more of a straight view (she's looking a bit down tho so take that into consideration) and straightened the other one. Let me know what ya'll think. Also did some body sculpting to make her look more muscular without looking bulky. I changed her skintone to Lemonleafs new B3.0 skin, I think it looks pretty good on her. I need to find a gun for her because Anita rarely goes anywhere without a gun! Haha!

Good start! To more closely match the pictures, it looks like the outer eye corners need to be tilted up some, nose be narrower above the nostrils, head wider with jaw higher and narrower, if you can. Also, chin possibly shorter and more square. (The fact that she's looking down might be affecting how short the model's chin looks.) You might try raising the cheekbones a little. It looks like both models have bigger busts, as well.

Yes, what SimmyRN said, and it looks like her nostrils should be more flared, and her eyebrows rotated down just a bit more into the inner eye corners (if possible without scrunching up the area between the eyebrows too much), in order to make her look more 'mean' and 'fierce' like she appears in the drawings. Good work so far.

So I've still been busy with school and I have an exam tomorrow and next week but somehow I found a tiny bit of time to try my hand at some poses...I thought it would be cool to have some Anita Poses to go with my Anita sim so here is the first just as a teaser :)

It's not completely done yet but I like it so far.

Also I took some time to find some more sliders to help with the suggestions previously made because some of them I could no do with my current sliders. Hopefully they help! :)
