Hello everyone!
So I have started to make an serious attempt at creating a Kurt Cobain Sim. I would love to get some constructive criticism so I can perfect him and maybe (some day) will have an identical polygon twin of him cruising the streets of my Twinbrook!
So, here's what he looks like now with real picture for comparison:

And here's a picture of him in his outfit:

I just don't like the way his sweater is so tight and how I had to use fingerless gloves to make it look like his sweater is too long. Anyone know where I can find a loose sweater? Best with some holes in it and it would be priceless to have a sweater that is too long with holes for the thumbs!
So what do you think so far?

Oh god, terribly sorry. I just tend to get a little confused with all the thread categories and stuff. :help: Don't hate me :heyhey:

Good start! His face needs to be thinner, eyes smaller in scale, mouth less wide from side to side and farther down (more space between nose and mouth). However, the nose needs to be a bit shorter, I think, so that may make up the difference. Chin a little less square and jaw narrower and/or higher.

The eyes also need to be set further back, and more turned up at the inside corner.
The stubble isn't great for that look - your sim looks scruffy whereas the real Kurt looks ruggedly groomed. I might say get rid of the stubble altogether while you're working on the sculpt, since it can change the appearance of the face shape, then once you're done replace it with something like the one used here (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=416729) (EA, I think).
And don't forget the profile. :)

looks like a good start! are you using any slider mods/have you considered using a different skin?
his entire head needs to be longer and his eyes made smaller. mouth needs to be farther down and a little bit more "shaped". nose needs to be slightly narrower and chin wider.

All right. Thank you everyone for your time and effort to give me some advice. I worked a little bit on him and here's what he looks like now:
http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m486/GoodEveningInfadels/cobainupdate1.jpg
And one without facial hair:
http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m486/GoodEveningInfadels/cobainupdate2.jpg
And one in profile:
http://i1128.photobucket.com/albums/m486/GoodEveningInfadels/cobainuodateprofile.jpg
So here's what I did:
- I made his head slightly longer and the jaw narrower and a little higher.
- I made the nose a little bit less long and the nose bridge a little wider to make his nose less triangular/Squidward-like
- His eyes are a little bit smaller and the inner eyecorner is lifted up and I changed his eyecolour
- The chin is a little less square, yet a little more prominent.
- The lips are a bit less full and the whole mouth is less wide.
Now that distance between nose and mouth thing gave me a really hard time, as his mouth was already on its lowest. So I lifted up the eyes and the nose, so it would be less of a problem.
What do you think?
Edit: In the first picture you can see what his eyes really look like now. In the second pic they're slightly narrower as he was just prior to blinking.
It's also a shame you can't make irises smaller, as his look just huge compared to his now smaller eyes.
And a question that doesn't have to do with his looks: His traits right now are: Virtuoso, Artistic, Loner, Good and Overemotional. Does that fit him? His LFW is Rockstar, as there aren't really any "deep" wishes such as Find the meaning of life or something like that. All their wishes are pretty materialistic in one way or another.
