Where are all the hotspots in Appaloosa?

Hi fellow sims, I've just played Pets for a few days. My sim has a wish to visit 5 hotspots in Appaloosa, but the only bar I can find is the one close to the Gym (forgot about the name), which does not require any star level. Could anyone tell me where are other hotspots, or the bars that need higher star levels to enter? Thanks!

PS: I do have NL installed but never really played Bridgeport, so I'm not 100% clear how the club system work or what "hot spot" means.

I've only seen one as well. I believe five is the default wish, whether you have that many places or not.

I think it may be sufficient to visit the same venue five times. A hotspot is basically where most of the town will be, if you only have one bar then they will simply always be there. ;-)

Basically, of all the bars and clubs in the town, one is designated as a "hotspot" every night. It doesn't have to be exclusive (bouncer/ropes). You can find out which one by gossiping, reading the newspaper, or just going there.

You can always add more bars and clubs, either from the bin (although the ones that came with LN are mostly not very suitable for other worlds), or by building your own... or just rezoning some community lots as one or another type of bar/club (there are three main types and nine subtypes of bars, more or less low, medium and high-class). Several of EA's worlds come with lots designated as "hangouts" which can easily be converted. If you want a bartender you can put in a professional bar; if you want live music, you can put in instruments; if you want dancing, a dance floor.

I think there's only one, but you can always add more.

Thanks folks! It's really boring to have only one bar to go to. I thought cowboys love bars? LOL. Those ones in the bin doesn't fit the western theme, so I guess I have to roll up my sleeves and do some building :D

Just one last question: Will the bars I created ever be listed as hot spots, or its always the premade one(s)?

As long as you set the lot type to one of the bars or clubs, like Dive Bar or Dance Club, then the lots you make will be selected as hotspots. You can also use the lot type Hangout. Other lots like Big Park or Visitors Allowed or Library or whatever else can never be hotspots.
