Origin+Late Night=??

So my computer was a piece of crap and my husband had to build me a new one just so I could play Sims 3 (pathetic right?) and I had to re-buy all of the expansion and stuff packs. The only one I'm missing now is Late Night. Should I use Origin and download it digitally or is it going to mess something up since the rest of my expansion/stuff packs are cds?

Why did you have to re-buy the EPs? Can't you just reinstall from the original CDs/Origin/digital download/whatever?

You can combine Origin and CD versions of the game, but Origin isn't particularly reliable as general rule, so I prefer to stick to CDs.

I sold them on ebay, didn't think I'd need them for anything as long as I held onto the latest EP/SP cd. But this time around with the new computer, I'm hanging on to all of them just in case. I think I'm going to take your word for it and just buy the cd anyways. Thank you
