Installed the Pets Limited Edition, registered, and got the pet store in the purchase history, also the atomic age items (2), but no exclusive content beyond that. Supposed to be - "Ten bonus objects to enhance your pets lives. This includes a palm tree scratching post, a luxurious pet bed with a canopy, a new outdoor pet house, additional horse race training equipment, an adorably over-sized turtle shell for cats to hide inside, paw print windows and doors to build your home with, and more! " However, they show up nowhere! Found this page - http://www.thesims3.com/incentive/OriginPetsRedeem.html - which is where we are supposed to enter the code, on another forum, but I didn't get any additional code, and when I enter the registration one, I get a "system unavailable" message. Seems a lot of people on the EA site are having this same issue, but no solutions have been presented there yet, and no response yet from EA. Anyone else here having this issue?

You can find them with buydebug enabled.

You can find them with buydebug enabled.

There are items in buydebug, but they aren't the ones listed as exclusive content. We are supposed to be able to download those, just like the pet store (which I was able to download), but the page where we enter the code isn't working, so they aren't in game yet.

Actually they are. You don't buy them in buy mode, you buy them from the petstore ingame. Or you can find them under buydebug. That would be the palm tree scratching post, etc. They're supposed to be items you buy from the petstore cash register during gameplay.

I can't locate them in buydebug at all, but can in the store, as a sim. Well, thanks! Too bad EA can't just tell us these things in the first place! Their chat tech though these things were a separate download, and gave me another code!

I had the same problem and I just contacted EA by means of the chat-like feature the official page has. They did some things and the content was made available in my page of TheSims3.com. It is not the first time I do this, and much as we might not be great fans of EA (at least I'm not), the people in that customer service area are very helpful and efficient.

This is the error message when I put in the code. System Unavailable

The store itself is buggy and has been down more than up.

Ea wonderful idea of lets put shyt in to your game that you might want to buy has worked out real well.

My hopes that the next ep would be one that Ea would get it right with minimum fuss. Was as much a fantasy as tapping my shoes and saying Ea can get it right the first time.

Note to self quit tapping shoes together.. It is annoying the neighbors and causing my wife to ask me if I am having a stroke.... :jest: :P

EA will never get a game right the first time; it is impossible. Like most big companies they are simply greedy, that's all. What is easier and cheaper:
a) properly testing a game with all the long weeks and months it entails (and with paid personnel), or
b) releasing the game to have thousands or even milions of free testers, who indeed even pay for the priviege of doing it, and then (if and when they feel like it) just putting toghether a patch to solve some of the bugs discovered by those free testers?

Tough question: cash or ethics?

Yes, tough question.
